Usage limits
How your plan's usage allowance works, and what the meters in your dashboard mean.
Your plan's allowance
Every plan comes with an allowance for how much you can use Haruno. Rather than one big monthly number, that allowance is spread across two rolling windows — a short session window and a weekly window — so a burst of heavy use doesn't drain your whole month at once. Your dashboard shows each window as a simple percentage of how much you've used, alongside a third meter for how much of your monthly plan allowance you've used so far.
Current session
The session window is a five-hour block. It opens with your first request, runs for exactly five hours, and then clears completely — the meter shows a live countdown to that moment. Working more inside the block never pushes the reset further away, and once it passes, your whole session allowance is back at once.
Weekly limit
The weekly window is a larger allowance that covers your last seven days of activity. It rolls rather than resetting all at once: as older activity passes the seven-day mark it drops out of the window, freeing up room as it goes. Your dashboard shows the exact date and time of the next reset — the moment the oldest activity still in the window ages out.
Reading the meters
Each meter fills as you approach that window's limit — it turns amber as you get close and red when you're nearly out, so you always know where you stand. A limit meter stops at 100%, because a limit can be full but never more than full. Bonus credit is the exception: it is a balance rather than a limit, so its meter reads how much is left and empties as you spend it. The daily chart shows how much of each day's share you've used, making it easy to spot your busiest days.
The meters refresh as you work. Use the refresh button on your dashboard to pull the very latest figures.
| Meter | What it shows | Resets |
|---|---|---|
| Current session | Usage inside the five-hour block you are in | When the block ends — five hours after it opened |
| Weekly | Your total usage over the last seven days | Rolling, as activity passes seven days |
| Monthly | How much of your monthly plan allowance you have used | On your billing date |
| Bonus credit | How much credit is left — this one counts down, not up | Never — it is a balance you spend once |
When you reach a limit
If you use up a window and hold no bonus credit, Haruno pauses new work in that window until it resets — the dashboard always shows when that will be. Bonus credit changes that: it pays for what your plan will not, so you keep working past a full window while the credit drains, and work pauses only once it is gone too. If you regularly reach your limits, a higher plan gives you a larger allowance.
